REMARKS:

‘Change’ holds great significance for the world we live in, but also elusive by nature, as forces of change are often outside an organisation’s control.  In order to start initiating meaningful changes from the inside, Marieke Rietbergen, CEO of the renowned Design Innovation Group (DIG) from the Netherlands, has developed a unique methodology that empowers designers and business leaders to take charge, step up and drive innovations while redesigning businesses through FUTURE IMAGINATION.

Her methodologies encourage collaborations among a diverse range of stakeholders involved in the change process.  It brings together those who require change, those who are responsible for initiating the change and those who literally implement the change.  While delving deep both personal and highly systemic levels, Rietbergen’s approach seamlessly combine research, creative leadership and co-creation, working wonders for policy makers, business corporations, including notable names like IKEA, Worldbank, and government bodies, helping them transform their mindsets, behaviours and decision making.

Drawing upon successful cases, the keynote is poised to inspire entrepreneurs and creatives alike, and encourage them reimagine social changes through the lens of design and equip them with the necessary tools for realisation.
