Sun Dayong, founder & principal architect of Penda China, a member of RIBA,was employed as the standing directors of the first council of the China Building Culture Research Association Home stay Industry Branch. He founded Penda China in 2013 with the concept of “less is love” from an ecological standpoint. He stands up for the feasible solutions to establish an agreeable rapport between individuals and their surroundings through designs integrated with art. The fashionable, green and innovative designs of Penda China, led by him, have garnered us many honours and extended actual influence within a worldwide scene. He was also invited to sit on jury panel for international competitions such as eVolo 2018 and Dezeen Award 2020, making a voice internationally for Chinese architects. He was selected to be Person of the Year by TRENDS HOME (2019) and Architect of the Year by Robb Report Lifestyle (2020).
